| After we finished the entire Journey of Water, Inspired by
Moana experience, we headed back to the France pavilion, with
our ultimate destination being Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.
Grandma Terry and I split (about 5/95 split) the Framboise
(raspberry mousse, chocolate cake, and raspberry jam). We also got
the full baguette, which Grandma ate some of in the seating area
outside of Les Halles, and we took the rest home and made garlic
bread out of! Finally, we got the Macaron Framboise et Citron vert
(a macaron with raspberry and lime cream) to take home for Jayden
when she arrived from Michigan later in the week (it unfortunately
went bad on us while we awaited her arrival - it's the thought that
counts). We headed back to the World
Nature part of the park, heading to The Land building with the
ultimate goal of going on Living with the Land – Glimmering
Greenhouses after sunset. We were a little early, but we timed
the line just right to make the wait coincide with the darkness
setting in outside. While the first part of the ride is unchanged,
the do a great job of decorating the greenhouse areas with Christmas
lights and other decorations, making it a beautiful sight at night.
While I have seen this before, this was Grandma Terry's first time
doing so. I enjoy the ride normally, but the extra touches make it
something special!
While we were in The Land building, we decided
to hop on Soarin' Around the World as the wait was short
today. I enjoy this ride as well, and am looking forward to the
version coming out this summer for America's 250th anniversary!
After completing these two rides in The Land, we were ready to
head home after two long days in the parks. We did make one last
stop, at the Creations Shop, on our way out. The rest of our day was
spent driving home. It was a great couple of days, with lots of fun
experiences, and I look forward to my next trip! Too bad this is my
last one for 2025! |
