Game 2

Jayden and her Tampa Dynamo teammates returned to the JC Handly Sports Complex early this morning for game #2 of the Brandon Cup tournament. This morning they would face off against the Plant City FC, who hold a 2-0 record over the Dynamo, and outscored them by a 14-4 margin in the previous two contests.

As you can see there isn't much to report in the way of action in this morning's game. The two teams went back and forth during the course of the first half of the game, with each team taking five shots on goal (including one by Jay for the Dynamo side). Unfortunately neither side was able to score, as the half ended with a 0-0 score.

The second half was more of the same, with each team trading chances. Plant City would outshoot the Dynamo squad by a 6-4 margin in this half, but once again neither team could convert their chances into a goal. The score remained tied at 0-0, giving the Dynamo girls their first draw of the tournament.
