Game 7

I wasn't able to attend tonight's game due to work, but Drew had Tara there to support him by taking pictures and Samantha there to fill out the scoresheet.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much to cheer about today. Tara, Samantha, and Derek were late getting to the game because they had to turn around and grab the shin guard that Drew forgot, which meant that he was late getting out onto the ice. Newsome scored the games opening goal in the first period and never looked back. Newsome scored the first two goals in the second period, giving them an early 3-0 lead before Riverview could come up with any sort of answer. With under six minutes remaining in the middle period, the Ice Sharks finally got on the board and narrowed the deficit to 3-1. That would be it for their scoring, though, as the Wolves would score the games final three goals to win the game by a 6-1 score. Better luck next time, Ice Sharks!
