Game 11

Neither Tara or I were able to attend today's game, so Samantha and Jayden got to be our stand-ins as Drew's in-arena supporters. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that we missed much, as the Riverview Ice Sharks were once again outplayed, this time by the Durant Cougars. Durant opened the scoring, and totaled two in the first period. They matched the two goals in the first with two more in the second, opening up a 4-0 lead. Riverview got the lone goal in the third, but it was really too little, too late by that point. The 4-1 loss for the Ice Sharks was not the outcome we were hoping for, though when the only penalties called in the game were on them (four in the total, with three of them in the third period), I suppose it shouldn't come as that much of a surprise.
