| Today would mark the end of our boys trip... but first we would
have some driving to do - around 540 miles worth! Our day started by
getting showered and ready to go before grabbing a quick bite of the
Holiday Inn Express continental breakfast. By the time we had done
all that, it was 8:30am and we were ready to hit the road. We
didn't do much stopping this morning, as we kept rolling along all
the way until 12:30pm, when we would have to find a gas station. We
settled upon a Murphy Express station in Tallahassee, Florida
because it was quite a bit cheaper than any of the others in the
area. Since we were in Tallahassee we decided that it would be worth
our while to try to find the state capitol building. We had no
trouble actually locating the building itself, parking was another
issue. We couldn't find a spot to park anywhere close to the
building, and since we were getting hungry anyway we decided that it
really wasn't worth the effort to keep looking. We wound our way
through the "hilly" streets of Tallahassee, which were hilly enough
to provoke Drew to call Tallahassee the "San Francisco of Florida",
which seemed appropriate based on some of the streets we were
driving on. As I previously mentioned Drew and I were getting
hungry, and we ended up settling for McDonald's once again. We found
one on the opposite side of Tallahassee, and a little after 2:00pm
we ended up stopping for lunch.
We were back on the road, headed home, a little before 2:30pm. We
had smooth sailing most of the way, with our only stop being at the
Columbia County Rest Area, I-75 Southbound in Lake City, Florida. We
did run into some thicker traffic as we neared Tampa from the north,
but it wasn't anything too terrible. The clock read 6:29pm when we
pulled into the driveway at home, officially ending our trip. The
grand total was five days, and 3,304.0 miles, as well as countless
			laughs, stories, and tears.
Despite the weariness from being on the road for all that time, I
am absolutely ready to do it all over again! Hope to see you soon
