Unfortunately I had to miss tonight's game due to work, so I don't have much of a recap to share. I do have a few text updates from Tara that I can summarize...

The Riverview Ice Sharks didn't get off to a strong start to the season, as they trailed 2-0 at the end of the first period. Drew played 3 shifts in total, and he wasn't on the ice for any of the goals allowed. Unfortunately Drew's luck ran out early in the second, as his line allowed a goal early in the period to make the score 3-0. Steinbrenner would tack on another goal in this period as well. The Warriors would add two more goals in the third to make it a 6-0 final score. As for Drew, Tara summed up his play this way: "I thought he played well. Still reaching and not using the body like he should. Stamina on shifts was much better. I think we'll see some more improvements throughout the season."

Lets hope so, and go Ice Sharks!
