This was the first of two games between the Riverview Ice Sharks and Mitchell River Ridge Mustangs today, and this entire contest felt like a feeling out process. Riverview absolutely dominated the puck in the first 13 minutes, outshooting the Mustangs 9-1. The last of those shots resulted in a 1-0 lead for the Sharks.

Things evened out a bit in the second and third period, as the shots were more balanced between the two sides. Neither team was able to find the back of the net over the final 20 minutes, leaving the Sharks to claim the victory with the 1-0 win.
