Game 1

The Greater Orlando Tournament got off to a good start for Drew and his Florida Jr. Everblades teammates, as they opened the scoring against the Pineville Falcons team just three minutes into the game on their very first shot. Unfortunately, that would be the highlight of the game for the Everblades, as the Falcons would dominate for the remainder of the contest. Strong goaltending would keep them in it through the first period as the game was tied at 1-1, despite being outshot by a 10-2 margin.

It was all down hill from here, as penalties piled up and the Falcons pulled away. After two periods the Everblades found themselves down by 2, with the score 3-1. The Falcons poured it on from there, adding on four more goals in the final period, to take the game by a 7-1 score. Not exactly the start to the tournament that everyone was hoping for...
