Today's game between Jayden's Liverpool FC team and the Michigan Burn team got off to a good start for fans of the Liverpool girls, as they were able to get on the scoreboard first. After grabbing the early lead, the Liverpool girls kept attacking, and added a second goal to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

The second half didn't go as well for the Liverpool team, as they would allow a goal that narrowed the gap to 2-1. The goal that knotted the game up at 2-2 was a deflection of a Liverpool player into their own net, a heartbreaking event. The third Burn goal also came off of a Liverpool player, as the keeper bobbled the ball and lost it into the net. That goal handed the Liverpool girls a 3-2 defeat, which was a tough one to swallow.
