Jayden and her Holly Purple Heart teammates took on the "other" Holly team today, in a rescheduled contest. The game got off to a good start for our Holly girls, as they held the second Holly team scoreless in the first inning before plating the maximum 5 runs themselves. Jayden drew a walk in her at-bat this inning, then managed to steal both second and third bases before coming home thanks to a walk by one of her teammates.

The second inning was more of a mixed bag, as the Holly 2 squad scored 5 runs to tie the game up, all of them coming with two outs. Thankfully the Purple Heart girls were prepared, as they too scored the maximum 5 runs. Once again Jay drew a walk during her at-bat, and walks by her teammates moved her all the way around the bases as she came home to score.

The Holly 2 squad had success once again with two outs in the third inning, though this time the Purple Heart team was able to limit it to just a single run. As she did in her pervious two at-bats, Jayden once again drew a walk at the plate. This time she only made it to third base before her team reached it's run limit.

After the Holly 2 squad was held scoreless in the fourth inning, the time limit was reached, and the Purple Heart girls didn't need to take their final at-bats. Today's victory moved them to 3-0 on the young season. Way to go girls!
