Invitational 2

Drew was asked to participate in his second invitational of the track & field season, representing the Holly Bronchos in the shot put event. Drew threw just 28'-2" on his first throw, then attempted a full spin as he took his second attempt (the throw you see at the Olympics - they have started working on this at practice), but he wound up stepping on the toe board as he came around. His final attempt turned out to be the best of his three, coming in at an even 28'-4", just 2" over his first attempt. Neither of this throws were near his PR, and they were only good for 20th place today (his PR would have only moved him up three spots in the standings).
