Tonight's contest between the Holly Storm and the Nationals team was a close contest, as the two teams battled throughout the entire contest. The early part of the game was a back and forth affair, as they traded early goals before settling in to a defensive game. The Nationals would score goals at the 23 minute and 11 minute mark to make it a 3-1 game, but Holly fought back to make it a one goal game two minutes later. Trailing 3-2 and working hard to tie things up, a late penalty kick awarded to the Nationals afforded them the opportunity to put the game away, and they did just that by scoring to make it a 4-2 score. That would remain the score as the final buzzer sounded, sending Holly home to defeat.
