Tonight's game started off slow, with both teams feeling each other out while going up and down the field. The Martians broke through with a goal first, but the Storm answered back - scoring the next three goals to grab a big lead. The Martians regrouped and found an answer, scoring two goals themselves to tie things up at 3-3. Samantha broke the tie by scoring on a penalty kick, drawing out the goalkeeper and kicking the ball past her to grab a 4-3 lead. That would be it for the Storm girls, however, as the Martians would go on to score three unanswered goals to take the game by a 6-4 score.
