Samantha and her Lightning teammates faced off against the FAU team that they beat 7-4 in their previous matchup. Holly jumped on the board first, scoring early. Things fell apart for Holly after that, as FAU rattled off five straight goals, some of which seemed like they could be attributed to a lack of effort. The Holly girls didn't give up, scoring two goals late in the game to make it close, but they weren't able to narrow the gap any further.
