Game 8

After suffering a tough 2-0 loss in the previous game, Samantha and her Holly Bronchos teammates hosted the Kearsley Hornets in tonight's contest. Thankfully the Holly girls weren't down on themselves after the loss, as they came out of the gate fired up and ready to go.

The Bronchos got on the board less than two minutes into the contest thanks to a well placed corner kick, and they never looked back after that. Three minutes later, the Bronchos found themselves on the scoreboard once again, making it a 2-0 game. The girls kept attacking, and though it took a bit, they got hot again near the midpoint of the opening half. They would explode for four goals in four minutes, blowing the game wide open at 6-0. They would score again six minutes later, and then get the final goal of the half near the five minute mark. Although there is a mercy rule, that only applies past halftime, so the game would continue for a full forty minutes. Once the halftime whistle was blown, the mercy rule resulted in an 8-0 victory for the Bronchos!
