I was late arriving to tonight's contest between the Holly Bronchos and the Lake Fenton Blue Devils, and as such I didn't keep stats like I normally would. I arrived just before halftime, and was surprised to see that Samantha and her Bronchos teammates held a 1-0 lead after 40 minutes of play. The second half would not go as well for them, however, as Lake Fenton would score first to tie things up at a goal apiece. Two penalty kicks resulted in two more goals for the Blue Devils, and they would take the game by a 3-1 score, despite the action on the field being much closer between the two teams.
