| Like yesterday's matchup in Brandon, Samantha and her FC
Sarasota teammates got off to a quick start today. They would score
on their first shot of the game, grabbing the early lead. They would
add a second goal before the first water break, taking a 2-0 lead on
only four shots. Neither team would do much of anything to speak of
for the remainder of the half, as the half ended with only 9 shots
on goal between the two teams. While there wasn't a big uptick in
shots in the second half, the Sarasota girls continued to make the
most of the ones that they were able to get, scoring three times to
widen the lead to 5-0. They would go on to blank the Florida Premier
squad for the remainder of the game, sealing the victory in the
process. |
