Today Samantha and her FC Sarasota teammates hosted the Celtic girls in Sarasota. Over the course of the first half the Sarasota girls would dominate the action, but some quality goalkeeping kept the Celtic in it, which they needed after only getting two shots off. After firing 7 shots on net, the FC Sarasota girls would finally break through with one late in the half. A few moments later they would continue their attack, scoring their second goal to double their lead. The 2-0 score would last until halftime.

The Sarasota girls didn't wait until the end of the second half to start adding to their halftime lead, as they would score early on to make it a 3-0 game. Before the midway point of the half they were awarded a penalty kick, which they would convert to widen the lead to 4-0. That would be it for the scoring, as the Sarasota squad completed a 4-0 shutout. Way to go girls!
