Game 9

Drew and his Novi teammates arrived at the rink early this morning to take on the Trenton Enforcers for the first time this season. Despite the early puck drop, the FireCats were ready to go. Although it took a while for the two teams to get a feel for each others style of play, the FireCats netted the games opening goal on a rebound shot with just over two and half remaining in the first period. Unfortunately the Trenton team managed to tap in of their own just 20 seconds later. They would head into the first intermission tied at a goal apiece.

The second period was all FireCats, as they retook their lead early on another rebound goal. They would go on to add another goal later in the period, this time on a shorthanded breakaway to give them a 3-1 lead.

The final period saw each team have some good looks at the goal, but the goaltending took over, and nobody was able to score. The game would end with the FireCats on top, with a 3-1 score. Way to go FireCats!
