Although some of the Liverpool girls got their taste of a soccer return yesterday, the majority of the 99/00 team were making their indoor debut today against the Michigan Hawks. The girls were ready today, scoring their first goal early in the opening half. They would take the 1-0 lead into halftime. They would sneak another ball past the Hawks keeper in the second, grabbing a 2-0 lead. The Hawks narrowly averted a shutout by scoring a goal late in the game, but that would be it as they never really threatened Liverpool again. When the final whistle blew, it was the LFC girls who were on top by a 2-1 margin.
