Samantha and her 00/01 Liverpool teammates returned to the field for their first game of the indoor season this afternoon in a contest against the HV Jaguars 99 team. After being off the field for a couple of weeks, the girls looked a little rusty in the opening half, especially Sam, who was playing in a mask in her first contest since breaking her nose. After halftime the girls seemed to settle in a bit, and they finally managed to break through with a long distance goal over the keepers head. They carried that momentum with them the rest of the half, even adding a second goal on another long shot that got over the keeper. That would be it for scoring, as the Liverpool girls coasted to a 2-0 victory in indoor game number one.
