    Jayden and her Hot Air Balloons teammates got off to a bit of a slow start this morning when it came to finding the net - they had several good looks, but they weren't able to sneak the ball past the starting goalkeeper for the opposing team. Jay had a couple of those chances herself, but she too was unable to score. The other team only had a couple of chances themselves, but they managed to convert to take the early 1-0 lead after one quarter of play. Jay moved into goal for the second quarter, and while she didn't see a lot of action thanks to her teammates aggressive play, she made the saves that she had to in order to keep the other team off the board. Her teammates did their part as well, scoring two goals to grab hold of the lead at halftime, with a 2-1 score. Jay was back at forward for the start of half number two. While she wasn't able to score herself, she helped set her team up for two more goals. Jay sat out the final quarter today after taking a ball to the face, but her team didn't really need her on the field as they were able to tack on an additional goal to secure the 5-1 victory, keeping the team without a loss on the year.
