Christmas Eve

Per our annual tradition, the kids are allowed to open a gift (occasionally two) on Christmas Eve. Even though they know that they are more than likely going to be unwrapping pajamas to wear for the night, this is still something that they look forward to. This year Tara & I were highly unprepared, resulting in a lack of pajamas to give to them. We had to make due with other gifts instead, and we opted to start with the gifts that Grandpa Jerry & Grandma Gail sent from Arizona, and then followed it up with the presents that the kids bought for each other. Even though this was a break from our tradition, it was still a fun and exciting evening!

	...and Tyler thought it was hilarious that he got her an extendable gripper arm (since he didn't want her to have to climb out of her bed to reach things!).
	Drew was next, unwrapping his gift from Tyler...
	...and getting a new video game.
	Jay was next to unwrap her gift from Tyler...
	...and she was thrilled to find a pair of purple headphones.
	Samantha's gifts were next, with Tyler getting to open the first one from her...
	...and found himself with some Playboy cologne (since Sam feels Tyler has a fascination with the Playboy logo!).
	Drew unwrapping his present from Sam...
	...and receiving two little Minecraft characters.
	Jayden opening her present that Sam picked out for her...
	...which turned out to be a cool kissy emoji pillow.
	Drew's presents were up next (Tyler had to wait for his to come in the mail - Drew picked out a cable to set up his computer with two monitors)...
	...and Sam got a selfie stick that Drew picked out to replace her broken one.
	Jayden's turn to open Drew's gift was next.
