Game 5

Home Up

May 15th, 2015

Drew's team had no trouble with today's opponent scoring each and every inning that they played, starting with two runs in the first inning following that up with the maximum allowable five runs in each of the next three innings. With the team up 17-0 in the fifth inning, Drew got a chance to do something that he has never done before - pitch. You could tell that he was nervous and unsure of himself on the mound, as he struggled with his aim and confidence. He didn't make it through an inning, but he did his best while he was out there. He also played first base, right field, and second base tonight. He went to the plate three times, getting a double, a walk, and a single during his trips to the plate. With a couple of new kids pitching the final inning, the final score of tonight's game wound up at a score of 17-5 with the Dodgers getting the win.
