January 9th, 2015
Tonight's first game (the girls were playing a
double-header) started out a little slow for both teams, but then the Impact
girls gradually started to show their stuff. It took a long time, but they finally
managed to score, giving them their first lead of the indoor season so far.
Their goalkeeper made some nice saves during the game, which allowed the team to
hold on for their first victory, a hard-fought 1-0 win! Samantha played pretty
well overall, getting a couple of shots on goal and controlling the ball
whenever it was at her feet.
