Samantha and two of her teammates offered their services
to help the short-handed U13 team this weekend in their games at the Genesee
Fieldhouse. The U13 girls have struggled during their indoor season, going
winless in their previous 4 games. There was some hope that this morning would
be there game, but without a regular keeper to stop the ball the team let in
some easy goals in the first half (two of the three should have been stops, no
questions asked). Though things improved in net in the second half, the girls
couldn't find the back of the net to secure their first victory, instead falling
by a 3-2 score.
