    Finally, mercifully, the tournament came to a close for 
the Holly Grey team with the final game in the consolation bracket. While the 
team continued their losing ways with an 11-1 defeat, they did at least show 
signs of improvement throughout the game. They did allow two runs in each of the 
first two innings, but that was largely due to pitching and catching issues, not 
fielding problems. The Royals team pulled away after that, but in reality the 
damage had been done by that point.
