    Tara was in attendance for today's soccer games, and while 
she did a great job remembering to take pictures for me, the camera settings 
were off and the pictures turned out rather ugly. I did my best to try to fix a 
few, but I'm no expert. Just try to enjoy the photos that I was able to post... 
    As for the game itself, it was a close battle between the 
girls from the Impact team and the Hawks team. The goalkeeper situation for the 
Impact was facing a bit of unrest today, as one of the usual girls wasn't able 
to attend. That meant that Samantha got her first action in net for the Impact. 
From what I was told, she played well overall, but she wound up allowing the 
games only goal when a shot soared high over her head. It was a tough way for 
the girls to lose their first game, leaving them with a 1-1 record in the
