Game 5

Home Up

September 28th, 2014

After losing their first game of the season yesterday, it appeared that the same thing could be happening today. Although Samantha and her teammates were playing better, they were facing a defense that they've never faced before, and that caused them to be caught offside more times than one could count on one hand. Despite their best efforts, the halftime score was a 0-0 tie. After getting some direction from their coach at halftime, the girls made the most of their opportunities in the second half. They got on the scoreboard within the first minute, breaking the tie. They never let up from that point, either, as they quickly scored another, and then another, and by the time the game was over the Michigan Impact team walked away with a 6-0 victory! Way to play girls!
