Game 3

Samantha's Michigan Impact team kicked off their third game, and their first home game, of the season in the afternoon against the Chill SBC team. Based on prepared the teams looked before the match started, I was expecting a good game between two closely matched teams. It didn't quite work out that way, and that was good for the girls on the Impact side of the ball. They controlled the match from the get go, moving the ball at will and finding the back of the net consistently. They worked together as a team to find open teammates, keeping everyone involved in the game. Sam was on the field for all 5 of her team's goals, and she didn't allow any during her brief time in goal. That was enough for the girls to secure their third victory of the season with a 5-0 shutout.
