Game 5

Samantha's basketball teammates put on a clinic today against the girls from Lapeer. They managed to hold the Lapeer team to a single basket in each of the four quarters today, while they themselves cruised to a big lead early and never looked back. Sam played a great game today, scoring 10 points for her team while also doing a good job on defense and grabbing rebounds. Something happened to end this game that I have never seen - someone pulled a fire alarm! We vacated the gym and waited outside for the all clear, but it never came. With the outcome of the game not in doubt, the coaches agreed to call it and let everyone head home. At that point in the game, the score was 33-8 in favor of the Bronchos.

	The halftime score of today's game was 20-2 in favor of the lady Bronchos, which is right about the time when I had to go pick up Drew from hockey practice.
	When I returned with Drew, the score had jumped to 31-6 after three quarters. The fourth quarter got cut short when someone pulled a fire alarm and the coaches agreed to call the game with the score at 33-8.
