October 31st, 2014              

    For the second year in a row we had to go trick-or-treating without any family members, as we are missing Dwayne, Erica, Donovan, and Marissa as they enjoy their Halloween in the warm, sunny weather of Florida. Instead we returned to the subdivision to trick-or-treat with the same large group of friends that we went out with last year. We arrived at their home shortly after 5:00pm, where we ate pizza for dinner before getting the kids costumes on. Before we knew it, the time had come to head out on the candy hunting expedition! Once again Samantha went out on her own with several of her friends from school. Tyler, Drew, and Jay stayed with people from our group. The weather didn't hold out once again for the second year in a row, as the temperature got near freezing and the snow and rain was mixed and falling from the sky. The kids were mostly undeterred through, and they stopped at as many houses as they could before coming back to the house to sort and trade candy with each other. As usual, everyone had a great time, but we still miss going out with our family! Miss you guys!

Halloween Trick-Or-Treating
	Here is the group of trick-or-treaters lined up before heading out for the night. Tyler put some thought into his zombie costume, as did Samantha and her "Dunkin Donuts" costume. Jayden went against the grain and opted not to be a character from Frozen, instead going out as a mummy. Drew opted for a classic - he dressed up as Homer Simpson!
