After enjoying a fine meal with too much food, we participated in the annual white elephant gift exchange with Great-Grandma Parrott and her family. It was a fun experience for everyone involved, though the younger kids were a little disappointed that they didn't get the gifts that they wanted. Unfortunately that is part of the game, but it was hard for them to understand since it was their first time being involved in something like that. Next time they will be more prepared!

	Prior to the white elephant gift exchange, Tyler handed Steven one last gift from his brother and sisters...

	...and Samantha read to him - tickets to the Strawberry Festival (where he will be able to see his favorite singer/actor in concert - Reba McEntire - though he doesn't know about that particular part yet)!

	...which turned out to be a nice blanket...
	...that came with a hot chocolate set.
