Game 2

In a contest that should have never been, Drew and his '05 Lapeer Storm teammates had to face the much stronger Saginaw Badgers team that they scrimmaged against earlier in the season. In the previous matchup, the Badgers took it to the Storm team, winning by a score of 22-0. With that in mind, nothing was really expected in the way of success for the Storm team in this particular tournament game. They did struggle to contain the Badgers players, but overall they showed drastic progress during their time on the ice. They managed to control the puck at times, and they didn't give the puck away nearly as many times as the last game. They also snuck the puck behind the goalie once today, while cutting down on goals allowed from 22 to 12.
