Once again, Samantha started this game in goal. She was
hoping to play in the field first, but it wasn't meant to be today. She had an
easy day in net today, however, as she saw almost no action. I don't recall her
having to make any saves, although she did have a couple of goal kicks (meaning
that the ball got kicked out-of-bounds along the goal line), so she had to be on
her toes from time to time. She moved to mid-field in the second half, and she
managed to score a goal on a long, high kick over the opposing goal keeper. She
finally put aside her inclination to pass the ball as well, making some really
nice moves to dribble the ball through several defenders. She didn't score on
that play, but it showed her that she was more than capable to do it. By the
time the final whistle blew, the score was a resounding 7-2 victory for the La
Forza Ice.
