September 22nd, 2013
Since the Lapeer Storm team was unable to secure a victory
in any of their first three games, they were forced to play in the consolation
game today. This game pitted the third place team from both Group A and Group B
against each other. While the Storm team wasn't able to grab victory in this
game either, they did play much better. The whole team skated hard during the
entire game, and showed no signs of giving up despite a rough weekend on the
scoreboard. Through it all they learned what it takes to be better as a team,
and how to work together. None of the kids complained - they just had fun. While
everyone involved with the team would have loved a victory, nobody walked away
disappointed this weekend. Go Storm!
