Tyler's Cage Bronchos team played their first game of the summer season on Friday, June 15th, against the Fenton Freshmen team. Considering that they are playing freshmen teams and that they only have three ninth graders on their team, tough games are pretty much to be expected this season. You could tell this was their first game together with minimal practice (in fact, two of the players haven't been able to make it to any practices at all), as they struggled to find a groove throughout the game. After falling behind early, the Bronchos made a run to trail by 1 at halftime, but they couldn't maintain that momentum in the second half. Tyler played pretty good defense, but wasn't able to score today. By the time the final buzzer sounded, they had lost game 1 by a score of 44-28.
